-Winemaking-

The 2017 growing season began with much winter rain followed by a beautiful spring. Summer was blessed with warm weather allowing the grapes to reach full ripeness with balanced acids. Harvested the first week of September, the grapes exhibited exceptional color, flavor, and tannins. Temperature controlled fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks with daily pumpovers to extract color and flavor from the skins. The wine was then aged in neutral American oak barrels for 11 months.

-Tasting Notes-
